A nippy Christmas day, at -5 deg C outdoors. In the background, a gliding ferry coming to a controlled and steady halt at the jetty.

It was perfect weather with clear blue skies in the Swedish west coast archipelago today. The sea was perfectly still with not a wave in sight, save the ones created by this ferry that ferries passengers to and from the islands.

A perfect reflection of stone in water on this calm winter’s day.

There were some people up and about this Christmas morning, though the general mood and atmosphere was silent and tranquil. Walking about town was a different experience, with easy parking and almost all streets to yourself since most others preferred to sleep in, after yesterday’s partying.
